Proficient with estimating software package(s). . Ability to utilize project management software to effectively manage projects. . Strong negotiating and problem solving skills. . Proven track record of success. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: . AA or BS degree in construction science, construction management, building science, or civil engineering a plus, but not required. . 5-7 years related experience and/or training with experience in overseeing projects. . 3-5 years experience working with General Contractors/Chief Estimators. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. . Reviews project proposal or plan with sales team to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. . Prepares and presents estimate to customer. . Oversees the planning, scheduling and implementation of the project/design. . Prepares an outline and work plan that assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. . Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel, determines best way to get materials to job project site, and ensures project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
