General Summary As a member of the Global IT Quality team, he/she is responsible for leading project portfolio management within Global IT , with the objective of optimizing the value and reducing risk from the portfolio of active projects. Owns the continuous improvement of our project methodology and ensures projects follow stated governance and methodology. Develops milestone review summary reports summarizing the portfolio and outstanding issues. Maintain master schedule of projects with key milestones and key messages in order to highlight schedule and/or resource risks. Begin to understand resource loads and provide recommendations. 2. 30% - Provide direction to PMO and EO staff, conduct mid year and end of year reviews and provide staff development. 3. 10% - Ensure Lessons Learned are well communicated and adopted within projects. Conduct training as required. Job Complexity . Strategic planning - Facilitates the selection and definition of portfolio projects - Contributes to 3 year planning. . Maintain managerial and leadership duties including motivation, diplomacy and organizational vitality. . Be able to understand, communicate, explain the project methodology and build relationships with the key leads of projects and VPs. Qualifications.
