The position is a Manufacturing Plant Senior Project/Process Engineer for a facility located in Ohio. You will be responsible for managing the installation of capital projects and continuous improvement efforts. The right person will be a degreed Engineer with 8 to 10 years' experience in paper mill operations and engineering. Experience must include management experience as a supervisor, superintendent, etc. To be considered your background must include commissioning projects at pulp and paper factories, cost saving experience in production applications and hands-on paper machine operation. Project management skills including use of project tracking software, excellent communications skills a must and a successful record of completing assignments within time and budget constraints. Travel will require up to 70%. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and client offers relocation assistance.Questions you will be asked: Describe your paper making operations experience as it would pertain to paper mill operations and the engineering of such. Have you commissioned projects at a pulp and paper factory and performed process control development? Describe your approach to developing cost savings in the implementation of production improvements, increasing reliability, reducing down time, best practices and root cause analysis How familiar are your with drying equipment, tanks, process piping, heat exchangers, boiler utility systems pump, etc. and the actual hands-on of the paper machine operations. What was you past annual salary.
