Responsibilities The Vice President of Finance is a key position in Vangent. The leader will be responsible for the financial forecasting and treasury functions of Vangent, including leading the annual budgeting process for the corporation, financial reporting and forecasting, treasury functions including cash management, insurance and risk management. He/she will interact directly with Vangent leadership team members on a variety of topics; provide guidance to divisional finance directors and is the primary lead on analytics of monthly, quarterly and annual financials. Key Reporting Relationship: The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Continuous improvement of the budgeting process. Direct a team of financial analysts, compiling and analyzing budget data, including monthly reporting, capital reporting, return on investment analysis, provisional rates submission and incurred cost submission to the Government. Overall responsibility for the G&A budget for the corporation. Supports the 10K and 10Q submissions, preparing the MD&A at the corporate level. Supports the CFO in preparation for earnings releases and earnings calls. Acts as CFO in her absence. Responsible for corporate treasury and risk management function. Responsible for corporate compliance with covenants specified in the Vangent credit and debt agreements.
