Software Development ManagerOur client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineering manager with very strong software architecture and project management skills to lead and manage a team of engineers. Must have software engineering experience building enterprise systems and in managing small teams of engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise solutions delivered as products and as services. The ability to work within the organization to define and deliver on schedule is critical to this position.Required Experience and Skills: Definition and design of enterprise software solutions as both an engineer and as a lead or manager. Participation in software projects from inception through delivery and subsequent releases. Management and mentoring of small engineering teams. Agile software development processes including best practices and tools. Strong verbal and written communications abilities. Bachelor's degree -Master's preferred- in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. Object oriented design and development. Jav a expertise is required; C++ and C#/.NET are plusses. Web based application development, including multiplatform user interface and web service implementation experience.
