Job Description:
You will interface with the subcontractors, the customer and your internal support group on a daily basis to ensure that the project safety requirements & specifications are met. You will be 2nd in command and will report to the Site Safety Manager. You will be required to create & submit daily, weekly & monthly safety reports. A BS degree in Safety or any Safety Certifications would be considered a plus. You need to be able to start by mid July or ASAP. This position pays time and a half for hours worked over 40 in a week. Mob & demob expenses will be paid, weekly per diem is $585, & you will receive 1 trip home every month.Questions you will be asked: How many years of experience do you have as a Safety Engineer, Safety Manager or Safety Specialist working in the field on large heavy industrial EPC projects. Do you have any specific experience on coal fired power plant construction projects? Are you interested in the job in WV or IL? Detail your experience interfacing with the subcontractors and the owner on these construction projects. Do you have an AS or BS degree in Safety? List any other degrees or certifications.
