Job Description:
You will need a BS in Engineering, or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of fossil power plant operations experience. You should have gas turbine experience, and any experience in a combined cycle plant is preferred. You should have at least 2 years of experience as an Operations or O&M manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the plant directing the implementation of the Operating Plan and identifying those areas which may need improvement or further development. The Operations Manager assures that plant operating conditions are always kept within optimum limits. The contract is expected to last 6 weeks. The overtime rate is $85/hr. Per diem of $125 is available.Questions you will be asked: How many years of experience do you have in fossil Power Plant Operations and Maintenance? How many years do you have as a Power Plant Operations Manager-Supervisor? Please elaborate on you roles. Do you have experience operating a combined cycle plant? Simple cycle?
