Job Description:
This qualified candidate will prepare and supervise structure design estimates that comply with company's clients criteria for the strength and deflection using electrical utility design codes and standards from NESC, ASCE 7, ASCE10, ASCE 48, IEEE 605 to NEMA SG6. Must be able to perform structural analysis and design of electrical utility transmission and substation structures utilizing PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, RISA 3D, and StaadPro software. The qualified candidate must have an Engineering Degree preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2-5 years in a supervisory role. Also an experience in towers, shelters, and generators to mobile solutions (COWs), and cabinets (ROCCs) is preferred. Any experience with the following would be a big plus: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Substation Automation (SA) systems, Distribution Automation (DA) systems, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), enterprise Wide Area Networks (WANs), public safety communications and remote security surveillance systems.
