Works with members of Specialty Property senior management team to define projects that are consistent with the overall Finance organization's short and long-term goals and plans. The scope, deliverables, and impact on current processes need to be consistent with the finance organization's business objectives. 2. PROJECT PLANNING : Create project plans consistent with the scope and needs of the project. The plan should clearly define the start-up, execution, and delivery phases of the project. Timeframes and budgets should be clearly stated in the project plan. Deliverables should be clear to all who work on the project or who are affected by the project. 3. PROJECT DELIVERY : Actively manage the project plan, deliverables, and dependencies to drive the project outcome as approved by senior management. Ensure that project goals and objectives are achieved within the established timeframe and guidelines for the project. Identify project barriers on a timely basis and prepare strategies to overcome these barriers. Obtain approval and closure from senior management at the conclusion of the project. 4. COMMUNICATION / WORKING WITH OTHERS : Prepares a communication plan and related project status reports. Deliver reports and project updates to senior management and those impacted by the project. Clearly define risks and mitigation strategies. Design and communicate change management plans for effected areas of the business.
