We are currently looking for a Database Manager to join our team in Katy, TX. Summary/Purpose: The Database Manager will be responsible for all operations and will work with development related database activities. This position will report to the IT Director and will supervise all database activities and DBA staff. As Manager DBA, they will work with all departments to understand their operational database requirements and then work closely with the IT organization to arrange system resources and ensure database requirements are met. They will implement processes to ensure the security of company and customer databases and ensure that databases are administered according to generally accepted practices. They will work with development to understand the future needs of the organization for scalability, performance and functionality and develop a vision for database design and operation.
