Job Description:
Partner with IT staff and Sourcing to identify, track and selectively lead projects that drive base cost productivity across Healthcare compute hardware, telecom, software, and purchase services spend. Work with P&L CIOs to develop business case for software investments and to optimize Healthcare's investment in internal use software assets. Establish and maintain operating procedures for the capitalization of internal use software. Maintain consistent and effective accounting close procedures and provide timely reporting across Global IT organization (20 countries, 80+ legal entities). Create the pre-close documents to support $200MM+ net book value of internal use software on Americas Parent books. Conduct annual impairment review of software assets. Manage staff of three managers/analysts and supported by approximately 7 contractors. Signature: ~CB~ Qualifications This position is open to internal and external candidates. * BA/BS in Accounting, Finance and/or Business * 8-12 years progressive finance experience * Proven financial leadership in supporting multiple, large/complex organizations * Solid financial and analytical skills Desired * Able to work/lead cross functional teams * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Self- starter, change agent Global experience * FMP or EFLP graduate * BB certified * CAS experience * FP&A and/or manufacturing finance experience * Strong eFinance/IT systems skills General GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies and services that are shaping a new age of patient care.
