Lyon Associates, Inc., an international consulting engineering and construction management company based in Honolulu, Hawaii has an immediate position available for a qualified Construction Resident Engineer for a Port Rehabilitation project in Karachi, Pakistan. Requires capable and experienced construction project manager with ports/marine/harbors infrastructure experience to oversee design vetting by Pakistan local engineering partner and quality assurance and on site supervision of Construction Contractor for 24- month position with approved periodic home leaves. Skills/Qualifications: Project Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Developing Standards, People Management, Legal Compliance, Documentation Skills, Civil Project Management, Problem Solving, Estimating, Customer Service, Safety Management Minimum Qualifications include Bachelors of Science in Civil and/or Structural Engineering by U.S. or equivalent internationally accredited University program and demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing complex marine projects. International project management experience is preferred, particularly in South Asia, Asia and/or Middle East. Ability to communicate professionally in excellent verbal and written English with cultural sensitivity to Client and Project Stakeholders a must. Individual preference for consultant/project based or employee status employement will be considered.
