Demonstrate ability to lead all project component functions, e.g. contract management, safety, project controls, material management, people resources, finance. Job Description : URS Representative communicating directly with client. Leads URS Project Team and provides oversight to lead discipline engineers, project administrators, project controls specialists and procurement specialist. Provides overall design coordination. Ensures client expectations and contract obligations are met. Provides business development support as needed. Follows URS Project Management, Quality Assurance and Accounting procedures.Specific Duties include:Prepare proposals including development of engineering scope of work, budget and scheduleContract NegotiationsInitiate project set-up in URS Accounting SystemPlan/Schedule resource requirements for projectCoordinate design issues with team and facilitate resolution of inter-discipline issues.Support lead discipline engineers and other team members so they can perform their jobs efficiently.Communicate project information with all team members in a timely manner.Respond to client requests in a timely and appropriate mannerDocument decisions made through all forms of communication with clients and team members.
