Job Description:
May perform feasibility study prior to formalization of a project. Acts as first point of contact for project issues, providing guidance and information as appropriate. Ensures project management adherence to project governance requirements. Provides information on projects to other Novartis functions to be used for decision making, internal and external communication. Accountable for writing monthly project reports MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES: - Assist in the development and management of automation project scope, functional specifications, objectives, assumptions, deliverables, constraints and risk to achieve project goals - Responsible for planning and tracking, budget, problem-solving, quality, functionality, and support - Maintains effective oral and written communication to Portfolio Management, project team leader, project sponsor, and affected business unit(s) as appropriate (e.g. scope, timelines, status, budget, resources, and delays) - Documents and maintains current project work plans, meetings, decisions, work change orders, project deliverables, progress reports, schedule, cost tracking and other pertinent reports - Prepare RFQs/RFPs, support vendor selection process and propose vendor - Management of internal and external resources - Implement and execute project management processes including risk management, scope change management, issue management, stakeholder management - Ensure know-how transfer during projects between external consultants to internal staff.
