Job Description:

Assists in new construction and maintenance to the existing plant by providing field support for new build projects, road construction projects, serviceability requests for residential and commercial businesses, and line locate requests on an as-needed basis. Work schedule will be Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Overtime and On Call as required. Please note that this position will be located in our Hinesville, GA office.MAJOR DUTIES (May perform any or all of the following duties):· Able to locate and mark underground cable systems to prevent damage caused by underground construction companies.· Act as liaison between in-house and contract labor groups.· Assist supervisor with daily activities and workloads.· Demonstrate superior customer contact skills.· Other duties as assigned.· Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. Minimum Requirements · High School Diploma or the recognized equivalency.Experience:· One year of experience in either the construction field or cable related field or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.· Knowledge of Electric Safety Code.· Ability to read and utilize system design maps.· Ability to drive company vehicle and work and travel in inclement weather.
