Job Description:
It is guided by principles to provide best in class execution capabilities through improved controls, standard platforms, processes and optimal cost efficiency. This position will be responsible for all accounting and reporting functions related to the Insurance reconciliation process as well as billing and collections. Primary duties include developing and training staff, improving accounting processes, resolving outstanding reconciling items, actively involved with report design and implementation, and interact with outside vendors. Primary responsibilities include the following: Reconciliation and research of Insurance general ledger accounts to the subprocessor Manage staff of 4 full time employees Resolve reconciling items Assist in month end process Projects Partner and interact with Financial Reporting Operations employees and CitiFinancial/WAMU branches Specifications / Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is required 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger account reconciliation experience is required.
