Responsibilities Under the direction and supervision of the Director of the Early Childhood Education Program, the Director of the Child Development Lab School manages the operation of a pre-school child development and care center and collaborates with the ECE faculty for the academic practicum of early childhood education students at Norwalk Community College. The Director is accountable for the operation and administration of the College's Lab School and for assisting ECE students in carrying out their academic practica through effective performance in program planning and development; center operation and administration; student teacher instruction; parent communications; and program quality and assurance.
