This position will be responsible for:
• Establishing and developing relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants and other industry-related individuals and organizations.
• Identifying opportunities and preparing proposals.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies and plans.
• Managing and directing Woodard &Curran’s environmental permitting practice, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the required technical approach and quality, and ensuring the annual budget, project programs and cost targets are met.
• Assisting with recruitment, development and technical performance of staff.
• Coordinating and collaborating effectively with other staff within W&C to assist in the establishment of a corporate-wide environmental permitting practice.
• Performing as the Senior Project Manager on specific projects.
• Achieving financial targets, including new work, project management, staff utilization and accounts receivable.
This position could be available in Andover or Dedham, MA or Providence, RI.
• A minimum of 10 years of directly related experience in environmental permitting projects;
• BS or Master’s degree in environmental science, planning, or related discipline;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential;
• A demonstrated history of team leadership;
• An existing strong client base and a history of providing high quality services to both private and public sector client accounts.
