Job Description:
Uses expert clinical judgment in the delivery of care to complex and specialized patient population resulting in a positive impact/improvement across the organization. Guides staff in the implementation of the nursing process and evaluation of patient care outcomes. Evaluates the need for new equipment and plans for future equipment and space needs on the unit. Explores and evaluates equipment options and completes preparation of required request. Based on professional standards, structures a plan to meet identified learning needs and evaluates outcomes at the organizational level. Collaborates with other healthcare providers and caregivers and uses group process for decision-making in interdisciplinary problem solving. Qualifications: Citizenship Citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when no qualified citizens are available in accordance with regulations issued by the Under Secretary for Health or designee. Licensure: Active, full, current and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Professional ng. Application materials will not be returned. In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of a current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement of graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
