Job Summary: The Off Tour Supervisor demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. The Off Tour Supervisor is accountable for adhering to established policies and standards of care and practice. The Off Tour Supervisor is responsible for supervision and administration of nursing care delivery on a Medical Center-wide basis, managing nursing personnel and coordinating all related activities. The Off Tour Supervisor provides and directs care for patients generally ranging in age from 17 through the geriatric years, taking into consideration diagnosis and physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs. The Off Tour Supervisor, Nurse II, represents the Chief, Nursing Service (CNS) during non-administrative hours and assists in the coordination of patient admissions, discharges and transfers within or out of the facility. The Off Tour Supervisor is directly responsible to the Associate Chief, Nursing Service (ACNS) and collaborates with other supervisory personnel. Key Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Must pass pre-employment examination. Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required. Background and/or Security Investigation required. Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.
