This recruitment will remain opened until filled. Examples Of Duties: * Supervises and develops Employee Assistance Program staff.* Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Employee Assistance Program.* Develops, administers, and implements policies and procedures related to the Employee Assistance Program services and activities.* Provides crisis intervention counseling services to client groups and their families.* Interviews clients to assess and evaluate assistance needs and makes referrals to appropriate counselors, agencies and community groups.* Advises department supervisors and managers on how to address the personal problems of employees which affect the operations of their organization.* Researches, identifies and evaluates treatment providers such as therapists, financial and credit counselors, child care facilities and attorneys.* Develops and implements training to supervisory personnel and new employees in order to publicize the Employee Assistance Program services. Typical Qualifications: Required Education: Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Behavioral Science or Counseling. Must have a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), PsyD License, or a PhD.Required Experience: Significant experience in Employee Assistance Program Management. A minimum of two years of professional counseling and referral experience.Knowledge of: The cultural and socioeconomic factors and influences related to personal, family, substance abuse, mental health and financial problems; the principles, methods and techniques of crisis intervention and counseling; the type and function of mental health and employee assistance resources found in the community; laws and regulations applicable to mental health.
