Job Description:
Primarily responsible for establishing a vision, development, coordination, oversight of all activities associated with the assigned departments / service line. The Director is responsible for the administration and supervision of respective professional and non-professional staff in the assigned areas. This position supervises and evaluates work performance, ensures optimal care of patients and supervises the execution of orders and treatments. Will also prepare and manage a business plan for departments / service line. Will collaborate with other directors and senior management to develop and implement patient care goals and objectives and ensures compliance. This individual leads in accordance with hospital standards and policies.required, MSN preferred. Minimum of five years progressive nursing experience with at least three years Emergency Department/ICU. Healthcare management experience is preferred. Current licensure with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
