Key Account Manager - Belts & Gearsmotors Division - Northern CA
Responsibilities of this Position - Sales:
*Responsible for coordination of all sales activity at assigned accounts to increases share of business, which meets or exceeds both customer requirements and company. *Develop and grow an understanding and knowledge of the marketplace served by assigned accounts. *Provide to management sales plans, product and service requirements of assigned accounts. *Create and maintain methods, practices and recommend products/services which continuously improve the company’s capability to serve customers and grow the business profitably. *Formulate annual sales forecasts and strategies to achieve those forecasts. *Develop long term sales plan for the assigned accounts. *Coordinate the necessary resources to accomplish the plans in an effective and efficient manner. *Penetrate existing accounts to prevent erosion and develop new account strategy. *Coordinate with management to formulate and implement pricing strategy to formulate and implement pricing strategy and tactics based upon competitive, market and manufacturing/ delivery costing information. *Projecting the voice of the Customer. *Coordinate sales efforts with other business units to achieve facility sales objectives. *Develop a network within the territory to understand competitive activity. *Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Competencies/ Specific Experience or Training Preferred:

*BA/BS is desirable in administration, engineering or related field preferred *7+ years in sales, marketing, and related areas of the plastics/rubber industries preferred *Strong knowledge of fabrics, plastics, rubber, resins and thermoplastic processing preferred *High competency with PC (MS Office and Windows), Lotus Notes, SalesLogix, ERP preferred
