Job Description:
Prototype, design, implement and test scalable, high performance, and distributed web applications, and related interfaces.
Write complex multithreaded and networked web applications.
Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality across the engineering teams.
Job Requirements:
3+ years experience in designing/implementing complex high performance distributed systems on Unix/Linux platforms
Good understanding of the mechanisms and trade offs in implementing large scale transactional systems in multithreaded and multi-process modes
Experience in network programming, caching, load-balancing, replication, and failover strategies
Knowledge in cluster/highly-available/distributed/scalable systems and algorithms
Exceptional analytical, problem solving skills
Solid knowledge of relational database design in Oracle and/or MySQL
Strong experience with C/C++ and Java
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Berkeley DB/My SQL/ Oracle Database experiences is a plus
Web Services expertise (REST, SOAP, XMLRPC) is a plus
Search Engine and Advertising Network experience is a plus
BS in Computer Science; MS is a plus
