Serves as a member of treatment team and is responsible for the coordination of treatment of all patients on assigned caseload. Completes psychosocial evaluation; provides individual substance abuse counseling; leads therapy groups; provides chemical dependency lectures; participates in formulating patient treatment plans in conjunction with other team members; maintains adequate patient records; participates in discharge planning if appropriate; participates in family therapy sessions as requested by and coordinated with the team social workers; performs screening interviews with prospective admissions when needed; maintains contact with referral sources during patient's treatment; supervision of interns. Participates in QA/CQI and outcome measures. Performs special projects as assigned.
