Novi Retail Pharmacy Shift Hours: variesStandard Hours per Week: 40 Department Description: The St John Novi Retail Pharmacy is located in the Medical Office Building on the Providence Park hospital property located at Grand River and Beck Road. Job Summary: Person will provide leadership and assume responsibility for the operational area(s) of the Pharmacy including, inpatient drug distribution, sterile product preparation, floor stock distribution, narcotic control, computer operations, automated dispensing, purchasing and inventory control. Coordinates, directs and evaluates the work of pharmacy coordinators(operations), pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Plans for short and long term improvements in area of responsiblity with a focus on quality, safety, efficiency and working conditions. Will establish and enforce policies and procedures in area of responsibility and ensure compliance with the rules and standards of the JCAHO, Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory and accrediting bodies. Reports to the Director of Retail Pharmacy. Qualifications Required: Bachelor of Science or entry level Pharm D. degree. State of Michigan Pharmacist License. 3-5 years as a Pharmacist and 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
