The activity should be driven by the business plan of the agency and rolls up to meet MetLife Financial Services Business planning objectives. The Agency Training Director is expected to reinforce and contribute to a professional and productive work environment.Principal Responsibilities:Ø Conduct or reinforce initial job training (PAT) for FSRs and regular training programs in line with the roadmap to training. Leverage product wholesalers and other corporate training resources as appropriate.Ø Orients newly hired FSRs to the business and assure that all programs offered are relevant and effective. Utilize understanding of MetLife's culture, processes, and products. Ø Participate and be certified, where necessary, in company-sponsored training and development programs. Identify ongoing individual training needs for FSRs and create action plans. Implement, and follow-up with developmental plans. Do so by looking at candidate's profile and decide which market is appropriate. Ø Identify appropriate target markets. Assess training's effectiveness in the Agency. Ø Monitor and implement In-Agency on-the-job training program through LearnNow for FSRs after completion of 8-day Career Skills Training Program.Ø Facilitate continuing education training programs for FSRs. Support MD's effort to ensure all courseware is corporately approved and that it adheres to state licensing requirements. Conduct or facilitate offsite LUTC courses for FSRs within the firm. Guide both new and experienced FSRs through.
