Project/ Construction Manager - Design Build Wastewater Treatment & Water Reuse Plants ( Hawaii WSI International specializes in the design, engineering, building and operations of wastewater treatment and water reuse plants, providing turn-key plants in the municipal and industrial wastewater sectors. WSI operates under a design-build philosophy to construct plants specific to our clients' needs, offering the highest quality equipment and integrated systems while meeting the toughest scheduling requirements. Job Duties: · Serve as primary contact with client and subcontractors for entire project cycle · Prepare job cost budgets and future project estimates · Issue Purchase Orders for both procured and fabricated equipment and materials · Coordinate shipping and consolidation of equipment and materials · Project scheduling, from issuance of NTP through plant start-up and acceptance · Day to day construction management and contract administration · Interpret engineering drawings and assure proper installation of equipment and materials · Coordinate Inspections by regulatory agencies · Process pay applications & vendor invoices · Develop and implement resolutions to site construction problems and discrepancies · Facilitate plant start-up and acceptance · Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Qualifications: · BS in engineering discipline and 5+ years related experience or 10+ years experience Project/ Construction management · Wastewater or industrial plant construction & start-up experience preferred · History of safe working practices in an industrial plant environment.
