Job Description:
On-site coordination required to integrate the construction projects into the FPL system. Administer and monitor contracts in accordance with Purchase Orders and FPL terms and conditions. Inspect contractor's compliance to FPL drawings, standards and specifications. Ensure timely resolution of field problems on a day-to-day basis. Provide work completion verification and documentation with turnover of project to appropriate FPL departments. Verify contractor's compliance to personnel safety regulations and use of good work practices to maintain a safe work atmosphere on site. Position Requires: Knowledge and experience in substation construction including high voltage buss assemblies, switches, breakers, and transformers. Also includes site development, poured foundations, grounding systems, steel structure assembly, control and power cable installation.
