Job Description:
Our client is the parent company of one of Europe`s leading construction and service groups in terms of both revenues and profits. The business is highly diversified: nearly half of all revenues come from construction, 39% from services and 15% from cement. Apart from construction, our client is involved in solid waste collection and disposal, street-cleaning, water supply, maintenance of drinking and waste water treatment plants, cement manufacture, real estate development, parking, site furniture, passenger transport, vehicle inspection, and airport handling, among other areas. We are seeking a civil engineer with significant project management experience to join our team in Miami, Florida. The Project Manager will be able to understand complex and technical construction matters and potential problems related to heavy civil construction, particularly in design built contracts of over $50M. Prior experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and all construction resources is mandatory as well as management of design efforts. The ability to understand and present financial data is a key component of this position. Some travel may be required. The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus. Experience in Windows Office and Primavera or similar scheduling software is required. A Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent combination of relevant engineering degree and experience) is required. A Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferential, but not required.
