Our direct client, a very well-established hedge fund in the Greenwich, CT area is searching for a candidate to help automate and systematize spreadsheets and reports for their Fund Accounting and Operations organization. This role will report to the Director of IT for Fund Operations. This candidate will work with different levels of the organization from accountants, operations professionals, investment professionals, and other infrastructure group, as well as external vendors. The ideal candidate would have experience developing with Excel, VBA with strong SQL skills. He/She should be well rounded and be able to suggest technical solutions that could improve business processes. This candidate should possess the ability to employ their past experience and knowledge. This individual must have a solid foundation in understanding of the financial services industry and a genuine desire to bring value to the business. They will be a member of a small yet highly capable team and must be able to work independently or in a group to solve real-time business needs across the organization.
