Job Description:
Our San Diego office is seeking a Storm Water Department Manger to lead our Storm Water Management team and be an active partner in the future development of the storm water discipline in San Diego and throughout the company. The position will be responsible for developing and completing work relative to regional flood control facilities, local drainage facilities and for storm water quaility. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineers and designers on hydrology and hydraulic studies and analysis, writing proposals, defining the scope of projects, creating and maintaining budgets and attending interviews. The Manager will also perform flood-plain determainations, develop drainage reports, improvement plans and municipal Storm Water Management Plans. Responibilities also include managing a staff of registered and non-registered personnel. Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in hydrological studies, professional registration and 15+ years of Storm Water design experience.
