Job Description:
Responsible for directing and coordinating all plant activities and personnel to obtain optimum efficiency of operations and maximize financial return. - Respond to production problems, oversee required trouble shooting and implement remedies. - Direct operating resources to achieve continuous improvement in safety, environmental compliance, productivity, quality and costs. - Coordinate with sister locations to optimize overall company operations and minimize costs. - Develop annual operating budget and monitor performance against budget. Requirements: - A BA/BS degree is desired. An Associate's in engineering technology is also preferred. - 8+ years of operations/maintenance management experience in chemical manufacturing, metals recovery or petroleum or metals processing industry. - Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process from both a technical and operational perspective. - Ability to effectively manages, motivates, lead and work with others within a team environment. - Experienced and adept in dealing with day-to-day human resources issues such as recruitment and selection of employees, people management, union relations, etc.
