Focus is reinforced vi a the weekly IB Operations control forum, where the agend a ensures full circle completion of outstanding items and highlighting continuing concerns.Job Description: * Work directly with IB Ops management to understand global operational issues in order to develop solutions * Provide ongoing governance of control environment and highlight improving, worsening or stagnant trends * Challenge ops remediation efforts to ensure focus of solution is based off root cause analysis and concrete & relevant action (Errors, Outstanding Nostros/Confirms and Trade Amendments etc.) * Ensure appropriate level of communication & escalation in place to reduce issues related to common root causesResponsibilities Include: * Control Meeting-Develop and organize control focus for weekly IB forum engineered for Operations managers * Control Reviews-Execute targeted reviews to combat prevalent ops issues or to ensure compliance to regulatory and corporate requirements. This requires proactively identifying control themes warranting review, synthesizing requirements, identifying process, developing best practices, presenting results to senior management and the usage of project management skills to ensure timeliness of delivery. Recent reviews include: PL Explain; Client Confidentiality; Consecutive Absence; OFAC; Tax * IB Operations CS A coordinator-Ops Feeder CS A & ETE Ops controls responsible for ensuring that appropriate process is in place for ops issues to be vetted through and included appropriately.
