THE WORK Client's financial business analysis group is seeking afinance professional with experience in global brand metrics, analytics andreporting to join its New England-based team. Candidate will: work closely with client's financial management team, brand managers, the Corporate Controller's office, and senior management to provide high quality financial input, analysis, and recommendations, particularly for brand profitability. support forecasting, budgeting, actual and strategic planning reporting cycles and coordinate relevant financial information in support of other strategic initiatives. be part of the team committed to the company's SAP upgrade and globalization of processes and therefore a key contributor in enhancing, developing and maintaining global brand analytics and reporting provided to management on a worldwide basis. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 1. Develop global brand metrics, analytics and reporting;identify trends that potentially impact the business and provide analyticalresults/financial recommendations to key business partners: Prepare and analyze impact on the business of changes inprice, volume, sales product mix and currency exchanges Prepare periodic variance reports and rolling forecasts formanagement review Create and maintain actual vs. target variance analyses forvarious financial metrics Develop, maintain and enable appropriate communication plansacross various business segments Develop and implement improved global profitability andinvestment analysis Develop enhanced use of existing systems to achieve consistentreporting and improved efficiencies.
