M&T has tremendous depth in the Real Estate sector where an entrepreneural individual will have the opportunity to work within a collegial environment to develop, execute and manage the distribution of commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities: -Develop, manage and facilitate growth of M&T Bank's Commercial Real Estate Syndication effort -Originate, structure, syndicate and trade commercial real estate bank loans to/with third-party investors -Establish and manage internal/external policies, procedures, and protocol including management of P&L and all applicable risks. -Regularly interface with all Commercial Bank Executive Vice Presidents and Regional Presidents to pitch a business model to internal constituents -Develop and supervise syndication and analyst staff in the preparation of materials to support investment banking engagements including: financial modeling, structuring, comparable company analysis, etc. to support deal positioning negotiation and execution -Coordinate all activities of the CRE syndication effort including the development of memoranda, presentation materials, and offering materials -Lead marketing efforts including participation on relevant Boards and Industry associations -Supervise research and portfolio management activity to support the institutional mandate and enhance shareholder value -Maintain appropriate procedures and records to ensure conformity with compliance and regulatory requirements Basic Qualifications.
