Job Description:
The primary purpose of the IT Project Manager is to plan and manage IT application development projects in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. The IT Project Manager is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, project planning and scheduling, risk and issue tracking, and project financials and status reporting. The Project Manager must work closely with executives, business staff, and IT associates to define, manage, and deliver projects to specification. This position will also provide leadership and direction to all team members. The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field and at least 3 plus years prior experience in Application Development or IT project management.
