Job Description:
The incumbent directly supervises the Supervisory Project Engineer, GEMS Coordinator, Maintenance and Operations Foreman, and Biomedical Supervisor. The incumbent is responsible for employee's performance, maintaining accurate position descriptions, performance standards, and appraisals. The incumbent participates with Engineering Service in carrying out delegated responsibility for the planning, direction, control, coordination, operation and evaluation of the programs. Provides planning for strategic planning, budget formulation, construction project planning, concept papers, and OMB 300 applications for construction projects. Participates in the formulation of the five-year facility plan for construction, space, improvement, and maintenance of real property and equipment at all sites of the Marion VA Health Care System.
