Job Description:

This position will interface with other university departments in campus planning and the state Division of Public Works (DPW) on project implementation. Boise State University is in the midst of an exciting period of rapid growth and development as a metropolitan research university in Idaho s capital city. The University has embarked on a strategic direction that will result in significant changes to our campus and facilities over the next 10 years and seeks an individual with strong project management and leadership skills to serve in the position of Director, AES to help implement this vision. Reporting to the Associate Vice President Finance & Administration, Campus Planning & Facilities (AVP), this position is responsible for oversight and coordination of all design and construction activities supporting the implementation of the Campus Master Plan. You will have the opportunity to: Plan, coordinate and monitor the design, and construction of all capital, repair & alteration, and remodeling projects for the University and all auxiliary units Develop and coordinate project design parameters and scopes for design consultants under the general direction of the AVP Evaluate/recommend project priorities to the AVP Provide technical expertise in developing project.
