Vendor Finance Accounting ManagerThis role is a key position in providing leadership and direction to the accounts payable department that will require ongoing collaboration and partnership with the Procurement, Sourcing, and Receiving departments, be an integral facilitator with the procure-to-pay process. The ideal candidate is one who has a proven track record of accomplishments in leading and managing people, processes, and systems in a customer focused, very complex and changing environment. Key Responsibilities- Provides guidance, direction and development to a staff of approximately six (including Sr.Accountant, Staff Accountant and two non-exempt employees and two contractors) within the accounts payable function, including vendor master administration, A/P accounting, and SOX control review.- Provides ongoing feedback and direction by coaching and mentoring employees on key core capabilities and technical skills. - Establishes solid relationships and partnerships with key internal resources and clients that aligns the departments goals with business priorities with Procurement, Receiving, Corporate Information Technology, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury and the Finance Managers of the various business groups.- Provides superior customer service and decision support for internal customers.- Demonstrates a solid effectiveness in managing external third-party vendor relationships.- Provides leadership in establishing and maintaining corporate policies for areas of responsibility.
