Then the Insurance Plan A/R Manager is the answer for you. Tenet is currently seeking an Insurance Plan A/R Manager. The responsibilities include: Reviews Healthcare Plan/Payer Performance metrics and leads team to identify barriers to maintaining optimum levels of reimbursement and aging and takes appropriate action to rectify. Proactively consults and collaborates with key stakeholders to identify issues to improve healthcare plan/payer performance and problem avoidance including the deployment of necessary resources. Serves as the catalyst to bring healthcare plan/payer aging and collections in line with Tenet standards. Maintains expert level contract knowledge, clarifies reimbursement terms and documents the intent with Managed Care, T& C and Medical Economics. (including but not limited too) Leads effective meetings with payors, managed care contractors, legal and other Revenue Cycle stakeholders and collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Services Director to resolve issues. Communicates outcomes, effects on aging, ongoing issues and trends to Revenue Cycle stakeholders through presentation and or log review. Qualifications 4 year college degree in business administration, finance or health administration or equivalent industry experience 4-6 years experience and excellent working knowledge of Managed Care Payers and Reimbursement methodology with specific focus on Inpatient and Outpatient Managed Care and Commercial payers Advanced knowledge of Managed Care Payers and Healthcare Claims reimbursement methodologies, practices and procedures including but not limited to applicable Federal, State, and Contractual regulations, such as ERISA and State Fair Claims Practices Acts, and ability to provide value-added Subject Matter Expertise. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
