General SummaryThis position is a leadership position within the deductions department responsible for accounting and analytical functions related to the objective of producing timely, accurate, reliable and relevant trade related financial information effectively and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilitieso Work with sales and finance teams for all brands to ensure understanding and proper reporting of trade spend.o Provide analytical insights pertaining to deduction and trade trends.o Develop and enter month-end journal entries and accruals for all trade spend accounts within required timeframes; maintain detailed supporting schedules and perform detailed account reconciliation and analysis; ensure appropriate accrual reversals are performed. o Develop and present uniform presentation package for monthly Trade Spend Close meeting.o Assist in financial and internal auditso Respond to corporate requests for information including, preparing quarterly and year-end financial schedules and year-end corporate tax scheduleso Follow up and resolve any outstanding close issues from prior months on a timely basis. o Provide KPI data and other dispute reporting to assist director in managing goals and objectiveso Provide weekly deductions and rebate reporting including score carding for sales and broker teams.o Provide direction and supervision to direct reports to ensure understanding and compliance with Company policies.
