Supervise preparation of federal, state and local tax returns (corporate and partnership).Supervise preparation of corporate estimated tax paymentsSupervice preparation of FAS 109 provisions and effective tax rate reconciliationsSupervise preparation of annual tax return true-up of tax provisions and tax account reconciliationsPrepare tax footnotes and related disclosuresPrepare IRS IDR responsesSupervise preparation of responses to federal and state notices and/or audits as requiredConduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda as requiredEnsure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley internal control proceduresOther assigned tax projects or tax planning as needed Requirments Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field OR the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including FAS 109. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations and other relevant authority sufficient to interpret and apply to transactions. Experience demonstrating skill reviewing and/or preparing federal and state income tax returns using tax software. Experience demonstrating skill in calculating corporation estimated income tax and extension payments. Experience demonstrating skill working with others to plan, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.
