We have been retained by our client in their search for a Data and Statistical Analyst. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity located in Schenectady, NY. Salary is $50-60,000/year, negotiable based on experience.
Seeking candidates with strong experience in Trending, Data Analysis and Statistics! Candidates should work with a sense of urgency and have a superior attention to detail.
Position summary:
Provide data analysis and projected utilization and costs for all areas of the business
Perform monthly analysis of actual utilization and cost trends and compare/adjust projected rates
Perform quarterly data pulls for rebate submissions and reconciliations
Evaluate and identify inappropriate patterns
Coordinate paid claims data and perform quality checks
Study data from previous and current utilization
Evaluate and test data, validate date and summarize results
Identify impact to the organization from results received
Requirements:
4 year college degree or a combination of education and directly related business experience
2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or pharmacy industry preferred but not required
Must have experience in a statistical role
Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be analytical and able to communicate analysis clearly and concisely
Ability to work with confidential information
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
