We have been retained by our client, in their search for an Associate Director, Production Operations & Communications, this is a full time permanent opportunity! Located in Albany NY area. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Directs and oversees enterprise production operations and telecommunications portfolio with focus on current and future business objectives.
Oversees production operations and telecommunications areas and related staff in order to provide reliable, fault tolerant and stable operations and systems.
Provides direction and management for applicable supervisors and staff in 2 NY locations.
Supervises staff including selection, orientation, training, performance management, counseling, and corrective action.
Provides oversight of our client’s 24-hour, 7-day/week computer operations including oversight of supervisors, coordinating work efforts of systems staff, overseeing daily operations, ensuring completion of necessary record keeping, and submitting reports as required/requested.
Improves customer satisfaction by working in conjunction with team members to ensure client's business needs and concerns are appropriately addressed.
Develops training programs and documentation to ensure production personnel are properly trained.
Provides reporting, data analysis and documentation needed to support audits.
Serves as primary point of contact for interviews with auditors, RFPs, and external contact activities.
Participates in development of operations, telecommunications components of annual IT operating plan and budget.
Contributes to IT strategic planning process.
This role performs significant travel between 2 locations in New York, including overnight travel. Requires flexibility for evening or early morning appointments/meetings.






Job Requirements:
Required Experience/Education:

College Education or equivalent experience required in Health Care/Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
Ten years of progressive IT experience, technical background, project management experience. Eight years of experience in managing technical professionals.
Significant managed care, healthcare and /or insurance experience strongly preferred.
Experience in technologies used in operations/telecommunications: Trizetto Facets and/or Amisys or equivalent payer systems; BMC/other production scheduling systems; Nortel and/or AVAYA systems, experience with CMS, Symposium, IEX, Periphonics IVR, Meridian Mail, Modular Messaging, CTI, Voice over IP
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal, written) with many levels and functions within and outside the organization. Demonstrated customer service skills/focus.
Ability to deliver projects while adhering to an aggressive project schedule.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to anticipate problems and work logically. .
