Job Description:
Client Profile:
Firm is located in Houston. Currently in temporary offices. Will be relocating to Northwest Houston in the near future. Specializes in composite components servicing, including wind turbine blades and nacelles. Firm has significant experience in composite product markets in the U.S. and internationally with customers in Ireland, Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Colombia, etc. Firm offers comprehensive services with regard to structural repairs, blade inspections and fleet management, logistics support from port/factory to turbine start-up, and works in various project environments such as ground and up-tower, off-shore, and under extreme temperatures. Currently employs 4,700 of workers world-wide. Currently employing over 100 employees in Houston with plans to double.


Job Requirements:
Reports to: Manager (TBN)
Duties:
1. Strong buying, negotiation, entrepreneurial aptitude, good with controls, good analytical mind, someone not dependent on directions, but will naturally get them from the Operations Manager, but does require a good mathematical rationale.
2. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
3. Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
4. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
5. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
6. Bilingual (Spanish) is also mandatory.
7. Can start immediately.
Work Status:

You must have Legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer. No sponsorships nor transfers are available.

Compensation:

1) Competitive base salary commensurate to experience level
