This position is located at Fort Monroe, Virginia. Fort Monroe is a preserved national historic landmark located at the southeast tip of the Virginia peninsula on the Chesapeake Bay. It is home to HQs, Training and Doctrine Command; Army Contracting Agency (Northern Region); Accessions Command; Cadet Command; Futures Center; Network Enterprise Technology Command; and the Installation Management Command-Northeast Region. The post is centrally located among many historic vacation and defense sites throughout the Hampton Roads area. Key Requirements: U.S. Citizen Major Duties:Serves as Chief, Opns & Training Br and Senior Opns & Training Specialist. Directs a staff of 10-15 military & civilian employees in the central development, planning, integration, & coordination of a comprehensive operations, plans & logistics program that supports & facilitates achievement of ARCIC mission goals & objectives. Responsible for the effective &d efficient operation of three complex, diverse, and unique in scope and mission functional areas within the Division which provide support to the ARCIC subordinate directorates and divisions. The functional areas include: Operations, Graphics, and Training sections. Principal consultant to the Division Chief providing advice and assistance in mission accomplishment over the wide spectrum of ARCIC operations which include: day-to-day operations, Operational & Crisis action planning, peacetime engagement, command relationships, Military & Civilian training, conferences, command & control, readiness, & operational security.Qualifications:Click on link below to view qualification standard.
