The position serve as Director of Pharmacy. Directs and coordinates all outpatient and inpatient hospital pharmacy activities, including responsibility for administrative and technical supervision of pharmacy staff. Relocation: Will be paid. Develops an affirmative action plan for the Pharmacy including appropriate objectives and goals, and monitors and periodically assesses progress. Keeps informed of, supports, and communicates to employees EEO policies, plans, and programs. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Basic requirements: Education: Four-year bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy recognized by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education. Licensure: All applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. In addition to meeting the basic requirements above: Candidates must have had at least 52 weeks of professional pharmacy experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level. Professional Pharmacy Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in directing a hospital or clinic pharmacy program which includes experience in supervising, directing all activities in pharmacy, developing and implementing pharmacy policies and procedures, experience in working with accreditation standards and performance improvement activities. Examples of the type of experience that will be credited are shown under Description of Duties and responsibilities.
