Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide high-level guidance on permitting applicability determinations, assist in the review and negotiation of final permits, track progress on projects and manage workload for the team, ensure that the proper QA/QC systems are in place, work with the team to identify additional opportunities to add value, and promote a positive challenge environment both internally and externally. In addition, the individual may be involved in providing miscellaneous technical support to GP facilities, assisting in the tracking and implementation of emerging rules and regulations, and developing training materials, especially in the area of air quality. As a Director in the Department, the candidate will be extensively involved in working with the management team in setting the overall strategic direction for environmental compliance throughout the entire Company, as well as taking a leadership role in other implementing/assessing broader compliance efforts within the Environmental Affairs Department. Job includes up to forty percent (40%) percent out-of-town travel. Educational Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, meteorology, environmental science, or related scientific field. Advanced degree preferred.
