Essential Job Functions80% · Designs, develops and implements occupational safety and health programs in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.· Develops industrial hygiene monitoring programs consistent with good manufacturing.· Develops contamination control policies.· Oversees maintenance of IH monitoring equipment· Provides technical guidance and assigns IH tasks to less senior personnel for implementation of monitoring programs.· Integrates IH programs into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.· Participates in process hazards analyses of manufacturing programs.· Conducts safety and health audits.· Provides leadership role for Health and Safety in EH&S Department.20% · MSDS preparation; medical interfacing; training; ergonomic evaluations; asbestos management; record keeping consistent with OSHA and TSCA requirements; and assist with respiratory protection program. Requirements Typical RequirementsSenior saftey professional· BS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related technical field, with 5-10 years experience in Safety or IH, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.
